in clinical studies.
We start recruiting volunteers for participating in clinical
studies only when the study protocol has been approved by the
Experts of the Ethic Committee. They ensure the clinical study
does not compromise your safety and also your rights are protected.
They also ensure you are compensated for your participation
appropriately.
After you have been informed about the study objectives, rules,
potential side effects, your rights and obligations, if you
express interest in participating you will first sign an informed
consent for screening that involves medical tests and face-to-face
interview. The tests are performed at ALS facility at no cost.
The recruitment, the screening and the stay for participating
in the study occur at the same place.
- We accommodate you with all what you need during your confinement.
- The meals are prepared on site and served on time as scheduled.
In some studies the medication is administered under fed conditions
which mean you receive it after a-high or a low fat breakfast.
You are requested to complete 100% of the meals served to you.
- We do not have a smoking room, therefore even enrolled as
a light-smoker you cannot smoke or go outside to do so.
